DEC 25 is the day we receive the light that guides us throughout our life, we celebrate the birth of our Savior. We prepared well with our celebration, we come with joyful heart; singing the Christmas songs.
As we prepare ourselves to receive the light of Christ, we have high hope for us and for our families. We receive presents; small, big, long, expensive, and so on.
But perhaps we forget to ask what I should give my Savior? Every Christmas, I ask myself what should I give Him? I have nothing but a sinner. Serving in the land of plenty and loving people is one of my joys where I found that I have nothing to give Him. But I have something for the people which is Him “the Light of Christ”.
This Light shines through to give hope to those who are poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, hunger and thirst, those who are persecuted and are hopeless.
This is what I can give to my Savior; bringing Him to the people. It is a small gift compared with what He has given me. But this gift is not easy to give as it needs perseverance, love, and service; to never give up but to continue to bring the gift.
There is always hope and joy.as a missionary. We are journeying in His light to ensure that we never walk in the dark. That is the purpose of Christ’s coming to us, to lighten our way of life, our families’ and our faith.
